The Za'tarc weapon is a Goa'uld weapon used by Za'tarc's and Bounty hunters.
Overview
The weapon is small enough to be concealed in the palm of the hand. When activated the weapon extends and when fired it produces a continuous beam of energy which will cut through a persons body. The weapon also has a self-destruct function. (SG1: "Divide and Conquer")
History
Major Graham had one of these weapons after he was turned in to a Za'tarc and used this weapon to try to assassinate Per'sus. When he was prevented from doing so, he activated the weapons self-destruct and killed himself. Later Martouf who had also been turned into a Za'tarc used one of these weapons to try to assassinate the President of the United States. Osiris also used one of these weapons. A Female Assassin also used one of these weapons when she was hunting down Daniel Jackson. (SG1: "Divide and Conquer", "Chimera", "Bounty")
