Trinium, also known as Ke, is a strong and light metallic material.

Overview
Properties
When in its raw and unrefined form Trinium is very brittle and essentially useless due the number of impurities. The material can be refined using water, a process taking hundreds of years. Refined Trinium is water proof and very strong and can be used to make hard tools and weapons as well as a flexible, yet strong, and thinner material. Trinium can also be added to other materials such as carbon and Naquadah to make other alloys. (SG1: "Spirits", "Small Victories", "Prometheus")
Uses by race
Asgard
The Asgard used Trinium as part of an alloy along with carbon and Naquadah in creating the O'Neill-class battleships. (SG1: "Small Victories")
Salish
The Salish find small amounts of Trinium washed down from the mountain and into the river over hundreds of years which removes the impurities and produces a clean and strong material which they use to make tools such as spear tips as well as a strong and flexible material for wall open wall construction. (SG1: "Spirits")
Tau'ri
The Tau'ri use Trinium in an alloy material for the construction of certain parts of the USS Prometheus. The alloy is very strong and difficult to cut through. The Tau'ri were mining from PXY-887 however they had to abandon it, finding a new source later on. (SG1: "Prometheus", "Spirits")
