The Tria is an Aurora-class battleship built by the Lanteans during their war with the Wraith.
History

Near the end of the war, the Tria was in a battle with wraith cruisers which proved too much for the ship and they retreated. While on their way back to Atlantis they were told of the evacuation and the Captain Helia decided to push onward back to Earth using their ships hyperdrive. However the hyperdrive failed on route and they were forced to modify their sublight engines to accelerate the ship at 99.9% light speed.
Due to relativistic effects, the crew experienced only a few years when in fact 10,000 had passed. The Tria suddenly detected a ship, the Daedalus, in its vicinity with hyperspace capabilities and began deceleration manoeuvres. Helia sent a holographic communication to the ship asking for assistance in the form of hyperspace travel.
The Daedalus offered their assistance and transported the entire crew back to Atlantis, where they took control of the city and asked the expedition to leave. (ATL: "The Return, Part 1") Today the Tria sits dormant between the Milky Way and Pegasus. [1]
