Telepathy is an advanced mental ability that allows minds of others to be read. Eggar received this ability after his genetics were manipulated by the Goa'uld Nirrti, attempting to create a Hok'tar, an advanced host. Khalek, a genetically-advanced human also had this ability as do the Priors, the Doci and the Orici Adria all to varying degrees. The Wraith also have some form of telepathy which they use to communicate with one another, but also to influence humans. Such abilities can be inhibited with certain devices such as the Anti-Prior Device.
