Overview
Stargate Universe follows the adventures of a crew of 80+ humans from Earth who are accidently transported through the Stargate to the Ancient vessel Destiny billions of light years across the universe sent out as part of a massive Ancient experiment to follow a series of ships seeding Stargates across the universe and determine an apparent message in the background radiation of the universe.
The crew must deal with a lack of food, water, supplies and power to get them home safely. The crew can use the Ancient Communication Stones to visit friends and family on Earth but cannot return due to a lack of power. The crew must also deal with advanced and aggressive alien species who seem to be after Destiny and willing to do anything to get to the ship.
