Stargate SG-1: The Complete Eighth Season is a DVD release that collects all 20 episodes of the eighth season of Stargate SG-1. It has been re-released in Region 1 twice with different packaging, totalling three different cover art designs. The reverse side of the original packaging features a photo of Ra in place of SG-1. This was also the final season to be offered in the large-sized packaging.
This DVD release was initially problematic, having shipped with the truncated, broadcast version of Threads rather than the extended version originally aired. Fans were offered the chance to mail the disc in question back, and a corrected disc was sent back.
