A Snake is a reptilian animal on Earth. Colonel Jack O'Neill would often call the Goa'uld "snakes" or "snakeheads" due to the similarities in their physical form. Jennifer Keller had confided in her lab partner in medical school that after seeing the movie Alien' she had a fear of something coming out of someones stomach, so her lab partner planted a live snake inside a cadaver she was working on. Airman Dunning had a fear of snakes and when he was infected by a Tick-like parasite he believed snakes were crawling under his skin, so he tried to rip his skin off to get them out.
