Major Paul Davis is a male Tau'ri, a member of the US Air Force and The Pentagons liaison to Stargate Command.
Biography
Davis worked in The Pentagon and when contact was lost with Stargate Command a team was sent in, assuming that the base had been compromised, before they figured out what was really going on - that the base was under the effects of time dilation. Davis came to the SGC and was within the ground level of the base when General Hammond came up and Davis escorted him to an airplane which would take him to Washington D.C. to talk with the President. Davis coordinated with the SGC in devising a rescue mission to retrieve SG-1 from Hathor, and later told General Hammond that the Pentagon was unwilling to send a second rescue mission. Davis was contacted by Hammond and asked to come to the SGC. This however was a ploy by the aliens who had taken over the base and Davis was replaced by one of the aliens. When his duplicate was killed, Davis woke up and helped Col. Jack O'Neill in taking back the base. Davis was at Stargate Command when SG-1 were on board the Biliskner to coordinate the defense if the Replicators made it down to Earth. After the Biliskner crashed into the Pacific Ocean, Davis informed SG-1 that a Replicator had survived and take over a Russian submarine and coordinated the team that went aboard to destroy the Replicators. When the X-301 test flight ended up with the ship hurtling out of the solar system, Davis helped Samantha Carter come up with a plan to save O'Neill and Teal'c aboard the ship. Davis went with Daniel Jackson to Russia to negotiate for the use of their Stargate in getting their trapped teams home. When Anubis sent a Naquadah-filled asteroid to Earth, Davis was at Stargate Command monitoring SG-1 aboard a cargo ship as they attempted to destroy the asteroid with a nuclear weapon; Davis was part of the group that evacuated to the Alpha Site when it was believed that SG-1 had been killed. When Anubis' Ha'tak arrived in orbit, Davis went with SG-1 to check it out, finding it abandoned. Davis and Carter discovered that the mind of Thor had been downloaded into the ships computer and piloted it to Earth. When the ship crashed into the Pacific Ocean, Davis and Carter managed to remove Thor's mind from the computer and he was rescued by a submarine that docked with the ship. Davis talked to Julia Donovan and told her that by running a story she uncovered would lead to people's lives being in danger, when the camera crew that Donovan brought aboard the Prometheus hijacked the ship, Davis negotiated to bring Frank Simmons and Adrian Conrad aboard. Davis came to Stargate Command after Senator Robert Kinsey had been assassinated to arrest Col. O'Neill. (SG1: "Descent", "Prometheus", "Smoke and Mirrors")
When the US decided to disclose the Stargate program to the British, French and China Davis ran the debriefing. Some time later Davis negotiated with two delegates from Amra and advised General O'Neill on rescue plans to get back SG-1 using the symbiote poison. When the Free Jaffa Nation was being established, Davis and SG-7 helped them set up a democratic government. Three years later Davis was at Stargate Command during the hand-off of the final Ba'al clone. When a ZPM-powered Hive ship arrived at Earth, Davis helped in the defense of the planet and helped track Atlantis as it entered Earth's atmosphere. Alternate Timelines
