The Orbanians are a race of humans from Orban.
Overview
The Orbanians have advanced rapidly through the use of nanite technology. They have a modern society built from their ancient roots, building pyramids but also building modern infrastructure and technology. (SG1: "Learning Curve")
History
The Orbanians are the descendants humsns brought from an ancient Teotihuacan society in meso-America by the Goa'uld. Eventually the Goa'uld abandoned Orban and the people. Around 1950 the Orbanians created nanites and they have rapidly advanced in the past few decades through technological adaptations and the sharing of knowledge using the nanites. The Orbanian Urrone child are responsible for passing on knowledge to others through the use of nanites, which each citizen receives one which take place in a network already in the brain. Stargate Command begun an exchange program with the Orbanians which gave the SGC access to a Naquadah generator. The Urrone Merrin was influenced by things that happened to her on Earth and the knowledge she passed on to her people changed them and they began to teach the past Urrone children in the "original" way.
