A Nebula is a collection of dusts and gases located in space. When Prometheus was on its way back to Earth it stopped so Samantha Carter could study a nebula, which turned out to possibly be sentient. SG-1 visited a planet to study a nebula. The ascended Ancients named a nebula in the universe the Gondolthian Nebula. When Teyla Emmagan was posing as a Wraith Queen, the hive ship she was on stopped near a nebula.
