The Kino dispenser is a device on Destiny which dispenses Kinos.
Overview
The device is situated in a small room off the nexus room outside the gate room. It is a pedestal that reaches from the floor to the ceiling. There are several pipes running of from the device into the roof. When a Kino is taken out another one fills the hole in the pedestal. (SGU: "Air, Part 1")
History
Eli Wallace discovered the device not long after coming aboard Destiny and took a Kino out of it. Eli also took the room the dispenser was in as his personal quarters. (SGU: "Air, Part 1", "Incursion, Part 1")
Notes
- When a Kino is removed it is replaced by another one, perhaps indicating that the device can create new Kinos if necessary. However it is more likely that their is a finite amount stored.
