Earth's star, more commonly called the sun, is the only star in the Earth's system.
History
In 1969, SG-1, after traveling back in time, used an observatory to locate a solar flare capable of sending them home. (SG1: "1969")
Alternate Timelines
- In an alternate 2010, the Aschen had a solar observatory that monitored the sun which SG-1 used to find a solar flare capable of being used to send a note back in time. (SG1: "2010")
