The Seed ship dock is a connection that Destiny can use to dock with the Seed ships.
Overview
When Destiny approaches a seed ship, it will fly in a parallel course over the top-back of the seed ship and an extension crosses over from the seed ship and docks with the section on Destiny. This connection allows for physical access between the seed ship and Destiny but also create a power connection so both ships can share power and a data connection that transfers information between them. History
After Dr. Rush gained access to the bridge he discovered that Destiny was on course with a seed ship. When Destiny arrived it docked with the seed ship and began to transfer data. After it was discovered that the seed ship had a significant power reserve, a plan was set in motion to transfer power to the Stargate on Destiny in an attempt to dial Earth. The plan failed when the Ursini aliens aboard the seed ship reversed the power flow. Dr. Rush managed to disconnect freom the seed ship before all the power was drained. (SGU: "Awakening")
