The Destiny Database is the central computer database on Destiny
Overview
The database contains all information about the ship itself and the technology aboard as well as information from scans of planets and the galaxies ahead of Destiny via the subspace link with the Stargate Seed ships and the subspace connection to the Stargates seeded throughout the universe. The database is also able to be "told" what the crew requires and discover an appropriate planet with such supplies. (SGU: "Air, Part 2", "Life", "Aftermath")
The crew now has complete access to the database with the unlocking of the master code and gaining access to the bridge. Information such as Destiny's true mission and the data is has collected in pursuit of that mission. (SGU: "The Greater Good", "Visitation")
After discovering that the consciousnesses of Amanda Perry and Ginn were found to be within Chloe Armstrong's body when using the Long-range communication stones, they were uploaded into Destiny's database and were able to project themselves into others to communicate. When Dr. Nicholas Rush uploaded his mind into the database to spend some time with Perry, he became trapped due to the end parameters set by Perry and both Perry and Ginn had to be quarantined in the database to extract Rush and take control of the ship. (SGU: "Hope", "Seizure")
When Destiny took the Novus colonists back to Novus, they discovered the planet abandoned and went into the underground Tenaran archives and began to upload its contents to Destiny. A rogue black hole that was passing through the system began to rip the planet apart and they were only able to upload 1/3rd of its contents. (SGU: "Epilogue")
