The Destiny Bridge is the main command control room of the Destiny.
Overview
The bridge is located at the front of the top of the superstructure on Destiny. The entire room can be raised up out of the superstructure to give a view of the front of the ship yet can descend back into the structure during a battle. The room is centered around a chair with control consoles attached to it which give access to the core systems.
There are six other consoles, in groups of two, at the front of the room - the left is for navigation, the middle is for systems control and the right is for weapons. Systems such as the autopilot and the FTL engines can be controlled from here. The Bridge also holds the controls for Destiny's docking systems, which is a feature the control interface room lacks.(SGU: "Aftermath", "Resurgence")
History
After discovering the master code to the ship, Dr. Nicholas Rush discovered the bridge and attempted to unlock and understand all of Destiny's systems. (SGU: "Aftermath")
