Chulak is a planet located approximately 2,000 light years from Earth that was originally under control of Apophis and later the Free Jaffa Nation. Chulak orbits a binary Star system and has very cold nights. In 2006, the planet was conquered by the Ori though later it would be freed when the Ori forces left the galaxy after SG-1 found and used the the Ark of Truth. (SG1: "Children of the Gods", "Reckoning, Part 1", "Flesh and Blood", Stargate: The Ark of Truth)
