Australia is a country in the southern hemisphere on Earth. Daniel Jackson noted that the British colonised Australia and turned it into a prison. Australia is part of the Gate Alliance Treaty and sent members to Atlantis. (SG1: "Prisoners")

Alternate realities

• In an alternate reality created by Ba'al, Australia, and its population, were to be given to Camulus. After Cacmulus questioned Ba'a'l about his methods, Ba'al gave half of the country to the Free Jaffa Nation. (Stargate: Continuum)
