Alicia Vega was a female Tau'ri, Captain and member of the Atlantis expedition.
Biography
Vega worked at Stargate Command however she was later assigned to the Atlantis expedition and one of her first missions was to assist in the rescue of a trapped team. During the rescue some Wraith Darts arrived and Vega shot one down. Some time later she was selected as part of Teldy's Atlantis Reconnaissance Team and went offworld. During this mission, Vega was attacked by some of Michael's experiments and was killed. (ATL: "Search and Rescue", "Whispers")
Behind the scenes
- Alicia Vega was originally named Alison Porter however the name was changed during production and Alison Porter became another character. [1]
- According to deleted scenes and Joseph Mallozzi's blog, Vega is a lesbian. The deleted scene has Vega asking Jennifer Keller out for a drink. [2]
